Public Passover Seder


What:
*An inspirational Seder for children from age 6 to 96.
*Be prepared for a lively and meaningful discussion.
*Make sure to bring your four questions (and if you can't think of any, then your favorite Jewish joke)!
*If you haven't been to a Seder in a while, this is the Seder for you .
*Everything is explained step by step
*Delicious food and kosher for Passover too!

When: Saturday night, April 19th and Sunday night, April 20th at 7:00 pm SHARP

Where: Chabad of Marin, 1150 Idylberry Road, San Rafael

Misc.: There is a $42 adults, $20 kids (with a 15% discount for anyone who hasn't been to a Seder in 3 years) fee. No one is turned down due to lack of funds. If you'd like to sponsor a place, let us know.

Never any membership fees and everyone is invited. We are the traditional Jewish Community of Marin County, dedicated to Education and Celebration for all ages. Wednesday Night: Men's Talmud Class at Chabad of Marin
Shabbat Services:
    Friday night - Candle Lighting (18 minutes before sunset), Services: 7:15 pm


    Shabbat Day - 10:00 AM (actually around 10:15), followed by community Shabbat Meal

Weekday Morning Prayers:
    Sunday 9 AM

    Monday & Thursday 6:50 AM

The Jewish Learning Institute is geared for Jews of all backgrounds seeking a deeper understanding and appreciation of Jewish thought, heritage and tradition, and promises to be a unique and exciting concept in adult Jewish learning that will enable students to achieve basic Jewish literacy in just one year.

Talmudic Ethics:


*The Talmud recognizes that is complex and subtle, and it knows that complicated questions cannot be answered with a simple yes or no.


*We can't promise to provide you with all the answers. But wee gaurantee you'll think about the questions in a whole new way!


*With the guidance and great sense of humor of Rabbi Rice, you will have the opportunity to encounter classic primary texts and engage in thoughtful, open discussion.


*First class is absolutely free - come and have a taste.
